searching for images

So here we are, for all of you english spoken friends and followers that were demanding it, this is the first entry at the blog in plain english !!

Many times we have downloaded images from the net, after searching for them via Google. You search for "Ganymede"  and there you are. But what if in reverse you have or find a picture and you would like to know the source or where about  it came from?

Well, the good news are that Google itself  has a way to do the task. 
Go to "Google Image Search" and do one of these things:

1.  Drag and drop an image from your computer or from the web into the search box, or click the ‘Upload an Image’ button and select an image on your computer to upload.
2.  Paste the image URL/address.

And voilá, all you wanted to know about a picture is there, in front of your nose!!

Dios mío un cuerpo desnudo

Cuando vemos un cuerpo desnudo el cerebro humano procesa las imágenes en solo 0,2 segundos. Mucho más rápido que cualquier otra fotografía y cuanta más cantidad de ropa cubre el cuerpo de la persona fotografiada, más lenta es la velocidad de respuesta de las neuronas de quienes observaban la imagen.

A esta conclusión han llegado los científicos de la Universidad de Tampere (Finlandia) tras un experimento mostrando a una serie de voluntarios imágenes de personas desnudas, en traje de baño o completamente vestidas (y en lencería fina, porque no?). Parece ser que en dicho experimento también se demostró que, la reacción cerebral en los hombres era más fuerte ante el desnudo femenino.

 Sin embargo resulta sorprendente que, la intensidad de la respuesta del cerebro femenino no variaba en función de si la imagen era de un hombre o una mujer.

Será verdad, que para una mujer, la respuesta cerebral ante un desnudo es igual tanto si es de un varón como de una fémina.
